Brock Mullins has written and directed a feature film and four short films that have have been official selections at eight film festivals and garnered four awards. His photography has been a major influence on his films.
Brock's films have appeared at the Chelsea Film Festival in New York, the L.A. Shorts International Film Festival (an Oscar qualifier), Santa Fe Film Festival, Bel Air Film Festival, St. Louis International Film Festival, Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, Los Angeles All Sports Film Festival, Columbia Gorge International Film Festival, and the World Championship of Cinema and Sports Television in Milan, Italy.
He began his career in journalism as a sportswriter, working for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Dallas Times Herald and New York Times after internships at the Los Angeles Times and Sports Illustrated. He is also trained in classical piano, and the soundtracks to his films feature his own classical recordings. Mullins was born and raised in Seattle and he is a graduate of the University of Washington.
